What to wear this Valentines Day..

Hello Gorgeous 💗

I hope you are all having a great start to the week, I'm back with another style inspiration post sharing some of my latest picks for this upcoming V-day. Now that the holiday season is fully over and out and we have said our goodbyes to the year that was January, It's that time again where our news feeds become full to the brim of dozens of bouquets of roses, leather and lace lingerie and ridiculously oversized teddy bears; where do people actually store those damn things? Cupid is on its way people! I personally love any excuse to celebrate with my nearest and dearest and why not get your glad rags on for the occasion. No matter how many times I have looked through my wardrobe, sometimes there just isn't anything that is tickling my fancy and find myself reaching out to the online shopping fairy! With Valentine's day right around the corner, you may be..like me, toying with the idea of what you're going to wear this weekend, whether you are off on a romantic date night with bae or heading out for a night out on the town with the gals. From prints and satins to bold colors, I have put together my favorite outfits from Femme Luxe Finery that I think you gals will rock this Valentine's day!

To start things off it, of course, would be rude not to add in a touch a vintage glamour with this gorgeous Karsyn Polka Dot dress. Channeling betty boop...polka dots are set to be EVERYWHERE this year and I'm living for it! This cute dress can be worn on and off the shoulder, It has a slight puff sleeve- which I personally love right now PLUS, it's mega synching and will work well all year round. Style this dress this Valentine's day with a pair of black or clear heels a mini bag and a pop of red lipstick. Bring this beauty back out in the warmer months with a pair of wedges or cork sandals and a string bag serving you all those Ibizan feels.

Ahh, the classic Little Red Dress. We couldn't do a valentines outfit post without a red dress in the mix! This Savannah Red One Shoulder Midi Dress comes in a slinky material, it's super comfortable, figure-hugging and the perfect go-to style when you are looking for something to wear last minute. This is definitely the kind of dress that would be worth getting in other colors as the fit is very flattering. This is also available in Emerald Green, Wine, White, and Black. Brownie Points*: This material also doesn't crease so you won't need to worry about any wrinkle-age in the taxi ride into town.  Team this up with a pair of killer heels and some gold accessories and you are good to go my little cupid.

Pink to make bae wink. This pink satin square neck bodycon dress makes the perfect outfit for champers with the gals. Complete with embellished straps adding a bit of sparkle... I mean who does love a bit of bling eh? I have accessorized this look with some statement star jewel earrings to match... because more is more right? I ordered this dress in a size 8 but as this material is a little stretchy, I would recommend sizing down for that cinched in look.

We're giving Kat Slater a run for her money in this Annabel satin feel leopard print dress from their leopard print collection. I have teamed this statement dress with a pair of double gold hoops and black heels for a glam night out. I wore this dress in a size 8 however again, I would recommend sizing down in this one for more of a true bodycon fit as it is a stretchy fabric

What're your plans for Valentine's day? Which style is your favorite?
I would love to know in the comments below!

I hope you all have a great time celebrating with your loved ones!
Happy Valentines

Your Last Minute Party Outfits...Sorted!

Well Hello, beautiful people, It has been a hot minute!

Mrs. Bloggy McBloggerson is back and it feels like I'm settling right back at home! It really feels refreshing to be sitting back at my desk, doing something creative and having a good old chin wag with you...if you are still reading this...welcome back!

As we all begin to settle down for Christmas- (abrupt pause: I say that, but if you are like me and leave all of the Christmas shopping until last minute then your in for a real treat and need to get yourself in ship shape)...for some reason I seem to get a buzz from getting last-minute click and collect happy whilst online shopping getting bits and bobs for my loved ones. Besides the festive food shop and buying yet another jumbo pack of wooly socks for your uncle's cousin's nephew...

Naturally, you will want to treat yourself to something fabulous wear this holiday season.

Over Christmas and new year, I practically live out of a suitcase visiting friends and family and sometimes it is tricky trying to pick out items that we can wear for all occasions. Luckily, I have (fingers crossed) been able to come up with four outfits that I believe may help you get through this holiday season, stress-free!

Polka dots have been a HUGE staple in 2019 and they lucky for us all, they aren't going anywhere just yet! This gorgeous Polka Dot Mini Dress makes the perfect party staple for a night out on the town with the gals, complete with one shoulder ruffle detail; We can at least keep half off our bodies warm this season! I have teamed this look up with a pair of silver statement earrings to add a 'boujee' touch and a bit o' sparkle. This is also a style that can be worn all year round! Pop on a pair of black stilettos this winter with a simple clutch bag and you are good to go! In a few months time, you can then dig it back out again, slip into your sandals and bobs your uncle, we're ready to wear it again next summer!

Calling all WhatsApp groups of the world, I've got you covered.
This glitter crop top is an absolute winner! For me, gold has always my go-to color but this is also available in silver for all of you silver loving queens! I also love that this is long-sleeved which means I won't have to worry about that slightly wearing fake tan over Christmas and again keeps me lovely and toasty. Wear this with a pair of high waisted jeans and strappy heels for catchups with the girls and you're sorted!

Let's be honest, between Christmas and new year, there nothing more I would like, than to spend it in my 'comfies' binge-watching Gavin and Stacey curled up on the sofa. This Ribbed Bardot jumpsuit is stylish yet comfortable- making it the perfect go-to ensemble to get you through this festive period...This also comes in black too! (perfect for those gravy spillages..am I right?)
This will have you feeling fabulous this Christmas and have fully covered for when that un-expected distant relative knocks at the door!

When it comes to date night during the festive season, I am on the hunt for something sexy, yet sophisticated..and also something that I am able to devour a plate of roast potatoes in. Finding the right balance is key of course...

When I first saw this Ruched midi dress, I thought it was totally giving off major Kim K vibes and had to try it out! When it arrived, This was luckily and surprisingly very stretchy and comfortable to wear, I am usually a size 8 however bought a size 6 and it is perfect! The Bardot neckline is very flattering and with the power of ruching, enhances all your curves in all the right places. If this style is right up your street, I am wearing the shade 'Camel' however this also comes in many colors including Wine Red, White, Emerald Green, Black, and Neon orange. I've teamed this up with a pair of gold strappy heels and Pearl Hoops to add a touch of glamour.

What will you be wearing this Xmas? Let me know in the comments below!

#12DaysOfChristmas: Christmas Tree Styling

Its Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

With Christmas only just around a corner, Its time to get into the full swing of festivities. I must say, I have been in the Xmas spirit for quite some time now.....I mean I did put my tree up in the middle of November (completely no f*#ks given) but as we countdown to the big day, There's always that added little hint of magic in the air.

I tend to spend my holiday season catching up on all the festive films that there is to watch, I especially love sitting down and watching the old classics like 'White Christmas' & 'Its A Wonderful Life'....gaaaad, that's a tear jerker! My ideal night would consist of watching a movie by the fire with some really good company.

When it comes to decorating the tree at Christmas, I tend to stick to certain themes. This year, It really has been, out with the copper and in with the gold! Here are some of my favourite gold bits and bobs!

What are your favourite colours to decorate your tree this Season?

#12Days Of Christmas: What I've Honestly Learnt From This Year

As the year comes to an end, I always like to take out some time to honestly reflect on the past 12 months. I find that it's rather therapeutic to just jot everything down on a piece of paper (or blog post I guess) to see what I have learnt from the past year's experiences. These are just a few of the things that have helped me to stay on track this 2017.

Setting Regular Goals.

Actually, sweat the small stuff.......I have found this year that by working on small and regular goals rather than 'The End Result' has really helped me stay motivated and keeping my good old positive hat on. This for me has been so much more rewarding because every goal is possible to achieve and never seems out of reach. This can be really as easy as finally finishing those pesky to-do lists, actually getting your ass into to the gym this winter or even trying out a new recipe or finding a new hobby or talent. The options really are endless and you will find that you feel more productive without needing a stress ball to get you through.

It's Okay Not To Be Okay

No, I'm not about to start hitting out with a Jessie J classic....glad faces all round... This year has been particularly tough on the old heartstrings, but showing emotion is nothing that we should all be ashamed of and I certainly have been making a good job of not hiding it. If you fancy a good cry/ mini breakdown with a bottle of vino or two then, by all means, get it all out, have your Oscar award-winning moment and don't be afraid to share your emotional side.

Doing A Good Deed Every day

The most rewarding of all...
For the past wee while I have been actively trying to find ways to give back as much as possible. From simply reaching out to the elderly and making all of the cups of tea and coffee for all your work buddies to campaigning and donating to charity. I have started to take more interest in helping out local communities and have been lucky enough to work alongside some fantastic charities who have helped inspire me into becoming a better person.

"Devote yourself to your community around you & devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning." - Mitch Albom

Letting Go Of Those Toxic Relationships

Over the past few months, I have really taken the time to reevaluate some of my relationships and noticed that I needed to start respecting myself enough to let go of those relationships that were getting me down or making me feel a little lacklustre.

If something ever feels odd or you feel as though holding onto that relationship becomes a bit of a chore.....let it go. Of course, I am not trying to say that you should drop people for no reason....because lets face it, it's a bit of a dickish move....but, if you are forever feeling drained by being in the company of that person, Give yourself the respect and the breathing space to move on.
Trust me, you will feel a whole lot better.

Be A Hero For Your Five Year Old Self

When things get tough and you feel like giving up, Try using this thought to get yourself into trick your mind into thinking more positively....
I have recently been using this ideology to get me through those sticky situations when that sneaky self-doubt creeps in. Think of what you have already achieved so far and know that you are strong enough to combat anything......Be your own hero! (capes not included)
